David Silipigno, a Saratoga based humanitarian and entrepreneur has been honored several times for his dedication towards the betterment of society. He was awarded with the "Spirit of Service" award by the Arthritis Foundation of NENY on March 7, 2009 and has also been honored by the Albany Academy for Girls. He has been constantly working for upliftment of poor and needy children and has also created an organization known as, "The David B. Silipigno Foundation" in order to serve this noble cause. This foundation offers social and emotion support to the at-risk children and works for creating an environment which is full of possibility and positive approach for them.
The David B. Silipigno foundation offers funds on annual basis to various other foundations like Arthritis Foundation, Saratoga Center for Family, Catholic Charities, Mental Health Foundation, YMCA of Saratoga and many more which are working for improving the condition of the weaker section of society. David Silipigno also encourages his staff to contribute towards the welfare of society as he believes that charity begins at home. He wants to build an ongoing financial resource, as it would help to support more and more service programs that are dedicated to the betterment of the society.
He completed his studies from Shenendehowa High School and Albany University and ventured into business at the age of nineteen. Nation Finance Corp (NFC) was his first business venture which created loads of employment opportunities among the youth of Saratoga County. He is the consultant and/or founder of five business areas which are First Guarantee Mortgage, Saratoga Venture Capital, The Principal Commercial, Industry Partners Title and Saratoga Studios. David Silipigno is also the executive producer of the movie "The Skeptic". It was directed by Tennyson Bardwell and was appreciated by the viewers for its combination of horror and thriller.
